Fresh and Orderly Inc. · Effective date: July 16, 2026

Fresh and Orderly Inc. (“Fresh and Orderly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides residential and commercial cleaning services in the Edmonton, Alberta area. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, freshandorderly.com, and through our advertising and booking channels, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We handle personal information in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

When you request a quote, book a cleaning, or contact us — through the form on our website, by phone, by email, or through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram — we may collect:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address
  • Your home or business address and details about the space to be cleaned
  • The services you’re interested in, your preferred cleaning frequency, and your preferred contact times
  • Access instructions, scheduling preferences, and any special requests or notes you give us so we can perform the service

Payment and booking information

If you book or pay online, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our systems. Booking and scheduling details may be managed through third-party booking software acting on our behalf.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our third-party providers may automatically collect certain information using cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and how you interact with it. See Section 4 for details on the specific tools we use.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Prepare and send you quotes and respond to your inquiries
  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on cleaning services
  • Contact you by phone, text message, or email about your quote, booking, or service
  • Process payments and maintain accurate business records
  • Send you marketing or promotional messages, where you have consented to receive them — you can unsubscribe at any time
  • Measure and improve our website, our services, and the effectiveness of our advertising
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, and we obtain your consent where required by law.

3. Advertising Leads (Facebook and Instagram)

Some of our customers first reach us by submitting a lead form in an ad on Facebook or Instagram. When you submit one of these forms, Meta Platforms, Inc. shares the information you entered (such as your name, phone number, email, and your answers to our questions) with us so we can contact you about our services. Meta’s handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy, available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Tools

Our website uses the following third-party tools:

  • Google Analytics — helps us understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, time on site, how you found us). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as your IP address and device information. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Meta Pixel — helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and show ads to people who have visited our site. The Meta Pixel may collect information about your device and your actions on our site and match it to your Meta account. You can adjust how Meta uses your data for ads in your Meta Ad Preferences.

You can also manage or block cookies through your browser settings, and learn more about interest-based advertising and your opt-out choices at youradchoices.ca (Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada). Blocking cookies may affect how parts of our website work.

5. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:

  • Cleaning teams and subcontractors — the cleaners assigned to your job receive the details they need to perform the service (your name, address, access instructions, and service notes), and are required to keep that information confidential and use it only for the job.
  • Service providers — companies that provide services on our behalf, such as payment processing, booking and scheduling software, website hosting, email delivery, and advertising and analytics platforms (Google and Meta, as described above).
  • Legal requirements — where we are required or permitted by law to disclose information, for example in response to a court order, or to protect our legal rights.
  • Business transactions — if our business or its assets are sold or merged, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy laws.

6. Where Your Information Is Stored

Some of our service providers — including Google, Meta, and payment and booking platforms — store or process information on servers located outside of Canada, including in the United States. While your information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction, and courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities there may be able to access it. If you have questions about our use of service providers outside Canada, contact us using the details in Section 11.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law — for example, we retain records of completed jobs and payments to meet tax and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

8. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including limiting access to personal information to those who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to limited exceptions under applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and ask how it has been used and disclosed
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Withdraw consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice — note that withdrawing consent may affect our ability to provide services to you
  • Unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
